Doña Laura is a private label developed to honor my mother, who is on the label at a younger age and on the neck at a later age. The coat of arms is from the City of Guayaquil, which is where we were born. My mother participated in and approved of the labels, as well as on the flavor profile of the wine, in this case a Demi Sec elaborated following the traditional method at the Miolo Winery in the Valley of the Vineyards (Vale Dos Vinhedos) in the Serra Gaucha of Brazil. I chose Brazil, as it is the top country in Latin America for sparkling wines.
